For me I've always loved music, just being able to play out, and see people dancing to stuff you like, is really a great buzz!

Even if I'm in a club on a night off I get an itch to get behind the decks again - It's a passion!

I’ve been a professional DJ now for about 8 years - the passion I have for mixing and music most probably came from my uncles being DJs and racking up quite the vinyl collection in our house!

They played a lot of Hip-Hop's golden age hits from the likes of De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Run DMC and many more. This was often accompanied with some R&B, Soul, Funk with a touch of garage which also rubbed off onto me as I too favourite these genres!

I’ve played at various clubs and bars around central London, learning to keep the more commercial and “touristy” crowds happy! The venues I've played at over the years include;

Shoreditch is where my current residencies are; playing at Cornershop Bar Wednesday nights, Mother Bar Friday nights and the odd booking between the two on Saturday nights.

Having grown up in the area and seen the changes it’s gone through, I feel I have a good understanding of the crowds that come in, and their musical preferences.

However, I would like to expand my range of sets in central London, adding some variety to where I play. I currently have residencies split between two Gym Box locations. Playing a more urban style on Mondays at their Holborn branch, while playing the best in House at their Bank branch on Tuesdays.

I am comfortable playing on most set ups, though most comfortable when using my USBs on Pioneer's CDJ Nexus models. I have my own mixer, CDJs, controllers and DVS, but prefer not to carry them with me as they are heavy and expensive, though this can be arranged for additional fees.
